Mildly Immature and Passive Aggressive

“If winning isn’t everything, why do they keep score?” -Vince Lombardi

I’ve been enjoying the hell out of lolpundits. It’s mildly passive aggressive and kinda bitchy because 90% of them go something like this:

I mean, it is true…

Apparently The Votes Were Hiding Behind Some Moose

“It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried.” –Winston Churchill

Begich is up. By 814 votes at last count. 538 says he’s likely to win.

Suck on those tubes, Ted Stevens.

On a more troubling note, if Begich wins in Alaska and Franken pulls out the lead in Minn., what impact will that have on the GA run off?

Smackdown Dan Savage Style

“As much as the social conservatives might not like to hear it, there will be a time when your grandchildren say: ‘What was the argument with gay marriage? Who cares?’ ” -Jim Kolbe

I don’t know what my favorite part is, where Dan Savage says he hope Tony Perkins doesn’t pray to Jesus with that mouth? Or how Perkins has no response for any of Savage’s arguments? Or just how good Anderson Cooper looks in a suit?

My President IS Black

“I know of no great men except those who have rendered great service to the human race.” -Voltaire

It seems that Michelle Malkin has her panties in a bunch over people selling/wearing t-shirts advertising that “My President Is Black.”

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for ya, but Obama won. That means the president (colloquially, I’m not getting into the drop in the bucket question) is black. Are you an American? Yes? Then your president is black. I don’t care if you didn’t vote for him. He’s the president of the United States of America and he’s your president. And he’s black.

Or just sun tanned.

Reasons to Love My Grandmother

“What in heaven’s name is strange about a grandmother dancing nude? I’ll bet lots of grandmothers do it.”

I was helping my grandmother out with some stuff and she sent me an email to thank me.

“Thanks, Molly, for the info. It answers some questions for me. Power to the people-right on! Love Gramam”

Yes, my grandmother said “power to the people” and “right on.”
