The plasterer and the intern should start today, while the contractor should remove the bathroom tiles, the kitchen tiles and the upstairs wall. I stop by in the morning and everything is off to a good start.
Then there is yet another crisis. To remove the bathroom floor tiles, the contract needed to take out the bathroom sink. Since the kitchen was removed the day before, there’s no tap there either. Without water, the plasterer cannot plaster. He preps the top floor but then leaves and won’t be able to come back until Monday. The contractor helpfully puts a temporary tap where the kitchen used to be.
We stop by in the evening to discover they have removed the kitchen tiles and started to work on the wall.
