I find a few numbers especially interesting. The personal savings rate is up quite a bit, up to 5.7% from 2.1%. While that’s terrible for economic recovery (see: The Paradox Of Thrift), I hope people continue to save.
The number of active militias is a little disturbing, up to 127 from 43. I wonder, though, if that is more a result of the election of Obama than of the recession. The percent of people who think that Obama is a Muslim is up from 12% in 2008 to 18% in 2010. Education fail. It is nice to see Sarah Palin’s approval rating is down to 22% from 40% in 2008.
